The American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy recently made a top 13 Greenest Cars for 2013, placing the Toyota Prius c on the first place.
The 2013 Toyota Prius c compact hybrid registered a high score of 58 points and an EPA rating of 53 mpg (4.4 l/100 km) in the city and 46 mpg (5.1 l/100 km) on the highway.
Second place was awarded to the Honda Fit EV with 132/105 mpg (1.7/2.2 l/100 km) electric equivalent, while third and fourth places are claimed by the Toyota Prius and the Prius Plug-In, scoring 51/48 mpg (4.6/4.9 l/100 km) respectively 51/49 mpg.
Of course, looking at the list by excluding the EV vehicles which don’t use a single drop of dinosaur juice, you can say that the top three hybrids is represented by Toyota Prii only.
