There is no room for in-between feeling about the Toyota FJ Cruiser, you either love or hate it. As with other famous SUVs, it almost has its own class due to the automaker’s approach on its design and features.
As we can see in Auto Trader’s video review right bellow, the new FJ still says no to modern age styling cues, having its shapes inspired by the first Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser.
And we like that! The FJ’s retro styling, with big beefy tires and high ground clearance suggests that this honest car was made for one thing - offroading. Its solid spartan looks cannot be compared with the other fancy SUVs that may chicken out in front of a rocky hill.
Looking at the review, we believe that the FJ Cruiser’s reduced rear passenger legroom and thirst for gasoline are worth living with, regarding its overall capabilities and looks.
