These cars represent big improvements over their predecessors and arrive with promises of better fuel economy, interior space, safety features and dynamic styling.

Both cars come with a 4-cylinder engine, the Accord offering a 2.4L that gives 184-hp and is available with a 6-speed MT or a CVT, while the 2013 Camry has a bigger 2.5L with slightly less power that is fitted as standard with Toyota's 6-speed automatic. This offers manual gear selection which is not available on the Honda. This gives you more driving enjoyment, but also security when the roads are slippery and you can't slam the brakes.

While on paper the Honda seems like a better deal, Toyota's trim levels are much better with stitching on the dash and aluminum-look details.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
