Here’s a Toyota that didn’t gets too much attention, the 2013 Avensis, which is Toyota’s flagship sedan for Europe and other regions.
Smaller than the American Avalon, the Avensis can be had with a 2-liter 124 bhp/310 Nm D-4D diesel engine, a 2.2-liter 148 bhp version of the same unit or a 1.8-liter 145 bhp Valvematic gasoline engine.
The Herald tested the 2013 Toyota Avensis, saying that the car fells good on long trips, due to its improved efficiency and updated interior equipment. However, they say it could be more exciting both visually and performance wise, but then Toyota could have upset the moderate customers that are buying it since forever.
