2013 Toyota Avalon Reveal Video Released

The new Japanese Buick is here! Yes, it’s the 2013 Toyota Avalon that was revealed by Toyota VP and General Manager for the US, Bob Carter, at the New York Auto Show.
Some people are already calling it ugly, so we wanted to take a closer look to see if we were fooled into thinking it’s better than the old one. Well, to be honest the front end is more intricate than the old generation, which had a large grille like a Higlander. This one is very distinct and combines sporty elements like humps and flared wheelarches, with elegant proportions.

Calty did a good job giving it brand identity, but we still wouldn’t pick it over the Taurus in the looks department.

The 2013 Avalon should be fully detailed, together with its complete range of powertrain options, toward the end of the year.
