2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Tested by Autoblog

The Toyota Avalon grew both in proportions and in character, coming with new looks, luxury interior and a hybrid powertrain in 2013.

The 2013 Avalon Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine connected to an eCVT sending power to the front wheels only. The setup achieves 40 mpg in the city and 39 on the highway.

Design wise, the flagship sedan is now sleeker and has sharper lines both at the front and back. Inside, the seats offer more support than the last-generation without sacrificing comfort, while smooth and nice-to-touch shapes will enchant your senses.

Autoblog tested the 2013 Avalon Hybrid XLE recently and found that the changes are going far beyond the sleek exterior and fuel-efficient powertrain, as it is better to drive than the outgoing model.
