Fresh pictures have emerged from the media launch of the new Toyota Auris Touring Sports in Majorca recently.
The Auris Touring Sports is basically a longer and sleeker derivateve of the Auris hatchback, designated to handle medium-sized families’ needs due to its increased practicality and greater fuel efficiency.

Exclusively built in Britain at Burnaston in Derbyshire, the car is offered with two petrol engines, a diesel and a hybrid powertrain. The passenger space is the same with the hatchback’s so the extra space was used only for more stowage at the back, which can be accessed through a 100mm lower tailgate.

Safety is another chapter in which the new Auris Touring Sports excels, scoring five-star ratings in the 2013 Euro NCAP due to its increased number of airbags, active safety systems and energy-absorbing components on the outside.

There are 14 different versions within the Toyota Auris Touring Sports range, with price ranging from £15,595 to £22,845. The entry level model with a 1.3-liter Dual VVT-i engine is available in Active and Icon trim levels priced for £15,959 and £18,245.
