With the majority of the automakers dropping body-on-frame SUVs, Toyota has decided to stick with them and offer bulletproof big off-roaders for those who are still willing to drive them harsh instead going to the mall and search for a big enough parking space.
One of Toyota’s body-on-frame SUVs is the 4Runner. The 2014 model will start at $32,820 for the 4x2 SR5 model powered by the same 4-liter V6 engine producing 270 hp connected to a five-speed ECT-I auto.
However, if you don’t want to wait for it, you can get the 2013 4Runner, which is basically the same vehicle minus the updated design and few electronic gizmos here and there.
