It looks like Sym is up to something in the scooter segment: a promotional video surfaced showing a 3-wheel prototype going by the name EX3.
Since electric vehicles are really exciting, this new project by Nova Design could not pass unnoticed. So far the vehicle looks pretty nice, even though the rear seems to lack any functionality. The tail of the EX3 is very high and eliminates any chance of a potential storage in that place.
Now, the Sym EX3 has a fine, streamlined and very Sci-Fi look, but again, few people buy electric vehicles now, due to high prices. And at any rate, everyone is expecting to get the best from such a machine, and storage is one of the premium features.
From what the movie shows, we're dealing with a dual tilting wheel design, in a monocoque fairing. This adds major points to protection against wind, rain and so. Yet we hope stability during turns will not be neglected, in case the Sym EX3 3-wheel electric scooter makes it into production.
