Introducing yet another customized bike which makes it in the 2013 calendar from Star Motorcycles: the 5-Bros, by Duncan Russell.
We just cannot get enough of Star's brilliant idea to feature and expose some of the most striking custom bikes based on classic, stock rides. Given the fact that we're dealing with everyday people who are really in love with their bikes, the results of their dedication and efforts are even nicer.
Duncan Russell's bike was names 5-Bros, just to underline his strong love for his brothers, and it claimed up to 3,000 hours of work. Based on a standard V-Star 1100, the 5-Bros is more than a individual project: Russell admits that it's been more of a brotherly endeavor as all his brothers have contributed to the final result. And with so much in-house work, the additional costs were as low as $2,000/ ~ 1,540 Euro.
With handmade bags and fairing, the bike got a leaner, more impressive line, demonstrating that real passion is sometimes enough to get things going the right way.
