We recently showed you SRT President and CEO Ralph Gilles driving his 2013 SRT Viper on the street and it’s now time to get back on the topic, as the executive has taken the car to the track for the first time.
The highlight of the 2013 SRT Viper track day was a tire comparison test. The vehicle was initially wearing Pirelli P Zero Corsa rubber, but, later on, it was gifted withe the slicks from the Viper ACR-X racer.
This allowed the Viper to gain three seconds for each lap. On a track like the one they used (Gingerman Raceway in Michigan), this is a pretty big deal.
