Two months after Skoda accidentally unveiled the 2013 Octavia RS with low quality pictures, a new high-resolution image of the car surfaced the web.
This time painted in blue, the reveals new exterior details, such as a new front bumper, tinted headlights and additional LED fog lights. There's also a slightly larger spoiler on the trunk compared to the one we've seen on the low-res car configurator. The most noticeable difference between the older white car and the one pictured above are the gloss black painted wheels.
Unfortunately no engine specs have been revealed so far, but we think the 2013 Octavia RS might come with a new 2.0-liter TFSI with about 220 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. A 2.0-liter diesel unit might be up for grabs as well, producing about 190 hp.
The new Octavia RS is slated to be revealed in Q2 2013, most probably at the Frankfurt Auto Show. We'll let you know as soon as we find out.
