Here’s a story you might have already heard about yesterday, but it now has a different twist to it, thanks to some fresh photos snapped by MotorCityProject. The very first 2013 GT500 will be auctioned off at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson event, where it will raise money for charity.
But as you can see, this isn’t an average production coupe, as it’s actually the test mule that was used to develop the 650 hp, 200 mph car you’ll soon be able to buy at your Ford dealer. As you can see, this thing is very rough around the edges, but that means it’s also got plenty of character, and after its endurance stint, there’s not much that can happen to it, no matter what you do.

This dirty war hero comes with color mismatched bumpers and is covered with 200 mph bug strikes. An to make it extra special, the inside of the deck lid is signed by testing crew of SVT.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
