With a rather long history in Honda's ranks, the Shadow series has always stood for chopper simplicity and a classic feel you either love or hate.
For 2013, the Shadow Spirit 750, brings only two standard colors: the all-time classic black and a blue scheme with truly nifty-looking shadowy black flames on the tank. The bike could have looked way better if Honda would have spread these flames across the whole bike... it simply looks unfinished the way it is.

The new cruiser packs a 645cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine with a shaft driven by a 5-speed gearbox. Not sure how will this 536 lbs (242 kg) bike fare at highway speed with only a 5-step gearbox, though, especially as more and more modern bikes are loaded with the 6th overdrive gear especially to compensate this aspect.

Honda's proprietary PGM-FI injection system with automatic enrichment feeds the engine, offering the optimal mixture for a classic chopper feel and good mileage. The prices for the standard version and the ABS version are still expected from Honda and we'll let you know as soon as official data surfaces.
