Pony car enthusiasts had plenty to be happy about at the 2012 SEMA Show, since Ford showed a number of custom Mustang projects, raging from soft cosmetics to insane tuning.
This custom creation is the result of the “SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women”. Three cars were rendered by various female designers within Ford, and one was selected to be built after an online voting contest.
The matte black design with golden wheels is the brainchild of Jennifer Seely, a Ford employee. She dreamed up some hardcore performance mods, including an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger for the 5-liter V8, upgraded exhaust, intake clutch and air filter.
The body is matte black and features ‘Rose Gold’ accent pieces. The headlight are custom built by North American Lighting, and some halo lights from Oracle Lighting were added for good measure.
"The concept selected by everyone who voted is amazing," said Doug Evans, Executive Vice President of Source Interlink Media (SIM), a partner in the project. "It will be very exciting to see the vehicle transformed in just eight short weeks by the dedicated group of women participating in the project."
