2013 Red Bull Romaniacs, the Toughest Prolog Ever

They say one has to make something special when it's about a round anniversary, and maybe that's why the Prolog of the 10th Red Bull Romaniacs was harder and crazier than ever.

Before they hit the Transilvanian mountains, the racers in the Red Bull Romaniacs have to sort out in which order they'll start the off-road stages... and that's where the Prolog comes in: an extreme obstacle course in the base city of Sibiu.

Merciless and fully-loaded with technical stages, the 2013 Romaniacs Prolog was designed by the awesome Andy Fazekas, the man whose off-road creations can be met throughout the world in indoor enduro or enduo-cross competitions.

There is no telling how difficult some of the obstacles have been and how evil was the idea behind some. Rookies had to settle for several inches at a time, in some places, but that was indeed the idea of the very rough Prolog: to see who deserves to lead.

The 2013 Red Bull Romaniacs Prolog saw 3-time Romaniacs winner Graham Jarvis finished int he 4th position. It was Paul Bolton in the lead, followed by Jonny Walker and Dan Hemingway.
