2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS Bows in Moscow

Porsche wanted to prove to Russian automotive journalists that the Cayenne GTS is not such an a strange machine, and that it has heritage behind it.
Thus, for the debut of the brand new Sports SUV at the Moscow International Auto Show, they brought along two racing legends in the 70’s 911 SC Safari" that participated in the brutal East Africa rally, and in the 80's Porsche "911 4x4 Paris-Dakar", which pioneered all-wheel drive technology in for them.

Both joined the brand new Cayenne GTS on display at the Shore House Yacht Club, right next to the Crocus Expo Center, where the motor show was held.

So what is the GTS really then? It’s an SUV that’s powered by a sportier 4.8-liter naturally aspirated V8 with 420 hp, which is sent to the road via all-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 5.7 seconds.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
