2013 Porsche Boxster DNA Explained

The Porsche 911’s rear-engine layout has had contradictory effects on the automotive aficionados over the years, as this had made the German coupe extremely attractive, but has also kept the world lusting for a mid-engined Porsche sports car.
Such a creation has been present in the carmaker’s range in the past, but the mid-engined gene was never really settled - it was kept in Porsche’s DNA and allowed to become reality from time to time.

All that changed started from 2003, when a concept that previewed the Boxster was presented at the Detroit Auto Show. From there on, a “3” story began: three years later, the first generation of the vehicle was on the road and now, if we fast forward to the Geneva Motor Show, we see Porsche releasing the third generation of the Boxster.
