2013 Porsche Boxster (981) Spotted in Dubai

Rear-Engined Porsches not cutting it for you? How about a good-old, honest, back to basics Porsche Boxster. There’s no roof, no all-wheel drive, no place to put the kids and no place to hide from the fun!
The brand new Porsche Boxster was launched earlier this year and is Porsche’s way of saying they believe in the theory of evolution. It’s 77 lbs (35 kg) lighter, while also riding on a bigger wheelbase and wider track. Standard 18-inch wheels and a lowered ride height means you won’t be using this for much else other than driving because it’s dangerous to stop anywhere near a curb.

Fortunately, the Dubai Mall of Emirates where this example was filmed has no curbs, and also no thieves. This is a simple base Boxster with a 2.7-liter flat-six producing 265 horsepower.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
