The Nissan Versa subcompact sedan was launched last year in America, a second generation model advertised with the lowest starting price in the US.
For 2013, a few changes have been announced. The car still has a $11,990 base price and the same 109 hp 1.6-liter engine powering it, but it’s also gained a new variant. Starting with the 2013 model year, a new Versa Sedan 1.6 S AT model ($12,990) with an improved 40 mpg rating (38 mpg for last year’s model) is available.
Nissan has added a cruise control package to the S Plus CVT model which starts at $13,690, while the SV gets a convenience package with a 60/40 split rear seat.
The top of the line SL model starts at $16,590, equipped with Intelligent Key, remote key fob trunk release, and a driver’s armrest. You can also add the SL Tech Package with a rear view monitor.
