Introduced in 2010, the fourth-generation Nissan Micra has received its first facelift for 2013. Unveiled yesterday, the European-spec supermini, which is set to go on sale this fall, has already made its video debut in a short explanatory footage.
Gifted with “substantial styling and quality improvements” the 2013 Micra is more “than a mere makeover”, claims Nissan. Exterior changes are indeed obvious, and we might add that the new Japanese supermini has a face worthy of our anthropomorphous vehicles list.

Before leaving you with the video in question, we would like to remind you that the 2013 Micra will become available in three trims, Visia, Acenta and Tekna, with several new standard and optional features.

Modifications were made in the cabin as well, only the engines remaining the same, with the familiar three-cylinder 1.2-liter gasoline engines, one of which can be had in supercharged DIG-S form.
