Recently, Nissan has recently released a video that celebrates the 30th anniversary of its Technical Center in Atsugi, Japan, in which the carmaker accidentally revealing a prototype of the all-new 2013 Altima sedan. Realizing the blunder, they have started the long an tedious process of actually revealing the car while maintaining public interest, and so we have the first teaser video to show you.
Right now, the only official information about the car is that it will below at the 2012 New York Auto Show in April. The video itself reveals precious little in the way of styling. The headlights are new and have more curves, while the body has a wavy character line, enhancing the wheelarches.
Previous reports suggest the new Altima hybrid sedan will use a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with supercharging and a new CVT gearbox. This front-wheel drive powertrain will share components with the one developed by the company for the rear-wheel-drive 2012 Infiniti M35h.
