Nissan is working the crowd in order to get some attention going for the new generation of Altima sedan. The mid-size model will debut as a 2013 model year at the New York Auto Show in April.
The car will not be a Lamborghini lookalike, but compared to the current generation, it’s miles ahead in terms of design. The teaser video released by Nissan America show an exciting set of multi-angle headlamps and an elongated grille with three bars.
At the way things are going, the powertrain department won’t change dramatically any time soon. Nissan is going to completely revise and reintroduce the dreaded CVT, and the base model will come with a 2.5-liter, while the V6 will be a higher-spec unit. As a luxury market feature, a 2.0-liter turbo will also be brought into the range.
