Last year, Audi launched its coolest SUV ever, thee SQ5, which packed a brand new 3-liter twin-turbo V6 TDI. Even though the mill produced 313 PS (308 hp), it was not deemed fit for service in the US.
However, at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit, the SQ5 is making its debut on US shores, not with the diesel, but with a TSI engine it managed to gets its quattro paws on.

Powering the US-market SQ5 is the 3.0-liter supercharged V6 familiar to Audi fans. The engine makes 349 hp and 347 lb-ft (470 Nm) of torque.

Yet even though it’s got the same running gear and a bit more power, the supercharged SQ5 is slower to 62 mph (100 km/h), reaching it in 5.3 seconds instead of the TDI’s 5.1.

Still, it’s no slouch ad with a lowered suspension setup and optional 21-inch wheels, it’s not bad looking either... in a bland sort of way.
