A Mustang that’s made for drifting? Of course, and it’s not the first one, this is the 2013 version of the Mustang RTR, a car that has recently been presented by World Champion Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr.
The 2013 Mustang RTR is a dealer-installed package and comes in 2 forms, Spec 1 and Spec, being available as an upgrade for all 2010 to 2013 ‘Stangs. You can also enjoy the new model in the video below.

Here’s what you get:

RTR Spec 1 - Available for the V6 and V8, RTR appearance package (not including the rear diffuser, RTR rocker splitters, and deck lid applique. RTR striping is optional) Ford Racing 1.0 inch lowering spring, RTR axle back exhaust system. MSRP $6,250

RTR Spec 2 – Complete RTR appearance package, Ford Racing tune, Ford Racing adjustable shocks, 1.0 inch or 1.5 inch lowering springs, RTR 4-way adjustable front and rear sway bars, RTR adjustable panhard bar, RTR rear chassis brace, RTR axle back exhaust system. MSRP $11,995 In addition to that, Spec 2 can also be ordered with a Ford Racing supercharger, which can take the power to 525 or 624 hp.

What we really like is the announcement that RTR is currently working on a track slayer pack that will arrive in August and will replace the panhard bar with a Watts Link, as well as add a few other suspension goodies, which will allow the ‘Stang leave its live rear axle Achilles’ Heel behind.
