Looking back at the rumor regarding Rossi's potential Moto3 team, learning that his half-brother Luca Marini will make his World Championship debut in the Moto3 class in Misano, Italy is definitely not a surprise.
According to MotoGP.com, Marini, recently turned 16 and therefore of legal age for world-class racing will be riding a FTR Honda machine, as opposed to his actual rival Andrea Locatelli, who will be racing aboard a Mahindra prototype.
Currently competing in the Moto3 category of the Italian championship, Luca Marini is second in the series and was confirmed for a wildcard appearance at Misano. This MotoGP debut outing could be the final step Marini could make before signing with a Moto3 team and starting his career in the MotoGP series.
Still no news from his brother as to a Rossi team will be racing in Moto3 soon. Anyway, this issue will most likely be cleared really soon, as there's not that much time left until the season end.
