One more day until the MotoGP teams take their first official step on the asphalt of the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, for the second round of this year's championship. This round is even more important as it's the first-ever MotoGP presence on this track!
Earlier this year Honda and Yamaha had a private test, and two Ducati riders launched the 1199 Panigale R, but for the rest of the teams, the COTA is completely new. With insanely sharp hairpin turns and sloping track, the COTA is spectacular, technical and difficult, and this makes the Sunday race as hot as it gets.
Even more, Honda's wonder rookie Marc Marquez lapped the fastest times at the COTA, ahead of Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa. And since he's already gotten a podium in his debut MotoGP race, we're expecting nothing short of a crazy race here.
