2013 MotoGP: Stefan Bradl Fit to Race at Motegi

LCR Honda German rider Stefan Bradl arrived in Japan at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit and underwent a medical check prior to the Friday practice sessions. Doctors Tsuyoshi Karasawa (Chief Medical Officer) and Michele Macchiagodena (MotoGP Medical Director) have been in charge of seeing if Bradl was fit to race and their conclusion turned out positive.

This means that Bradl has a green light into the Free Practice outings. The German rider suffered a malleolus (ankle) fracture in Malaysia and despite the medical team having initially deemed him fit to race at Phillip Island he was some 4 seconds slower in the FP, so he had to sit out.

After missing the Australian race, Bradl went through two physio sessions a day and looks like he can ride much better now. He's eager to make a comeback aboard his Honda and make the most of the remaining two races of the season.

Stefan Bradl is currently 7th in the world standing, with 135 points, 12 behind Bautista and 8 ahead of Dovizioso.
