Here's the confirmation of the rumors which saw Randy de Puniet as the next Suzuki test rider: the announcement is now official, and de Puniet will team with Nobuatsu Aoki.
Suzuki has already planned no less than five tests during the 2013 MotoGP season, three official and two private ones, starting at the Barcelona round and ending with the last event in Valencia.
However, Suzuki has not signed the deal with Dorna, the rightsholder for MotoGP. Suzuki must join with a team in order to be allowed to race.
Now that Randy de Puniet is their official test rider for the year, we might indeed expect Suzuki and Randy's actual team Aspar to shake hands and sign the papers. Until things are settled and official declarations surface, we can only hope the deal is closed faster: Aoki already told that the new bikes are fast as hell, so this means a more fun MotoGP!
