Race Direction also examined Marquez' riding throughout the 2013 season and issued him a sort of warning, advising that more careful driving is to be exercised lest more sever sanctions be imposed.

Furthermore, the decision to strip Repsol Honda of the Constructors' Championship points it won as a consequence of Marquez winning the Aragon race. This decision was made as the Race Direction considered that it was also the constructor's responsibility in Pedrosa's crash.

Honda could appeal the Race Direction decision, but Livio Suppo, Honda's Team Director believes that Shuhei Nakamoto (HRC Executive Vice President) will understand the situation.

On the other hand, Honda Technical Director Takeo Yokoyama said the team is making updates for the bikes, adding extra protection for the cable severed in the clash between Dani and Marc, and updating the electronic backup system to kick in faster in case of a primary failure.
