We're happy to inform you that Marc Marquez is safe and sound: he met with Dr. Xavier Mir of the Quiron Dexeus University Hospital in Barcelona and the medical investigations showed no complications for the the Repsol Honda rookie.
Dr. Mir also added that Marc's arm pump will not require any treatment, as there was no significant damage to his hand. The young rider suffered form arm pump during the Assen race past Saturday as he was forced to brake with only one finger after fracturing his right pinky in a massive crash before the race.
The same crash left him with a fractured big toe of his right foot. Doctor Mir advised several days off from any significant physical activity to allow the fractures to start healing and said that the rookie will be up and running before the German round at Sachsenring, July 14.
Marquez is currently 3rd in the world standing with 113 points, 14 behind Jorge Lorenzo and 23 behind the leader Dani Pedrosa.
