Reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo has shown his all-new helmet graphics for the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya race on Sunday.
While Lorenzo's helmet designs have been rather conservative and on the mild side, we're ever so glad to see him taking a daring step from mild to wild. We dare even say his lid looks cooler than his team mate's: while Rossi has always treated us with flamboyant designs, seeing Lorenzo's "graffiti" color scheme is a breath of fresh air.
However, there is something even cooler to Lorenzo's race helmet for the end of the week: the killer graphics have been designed by Anna Vives, who suffers form Down syndrome. Anna is a well-known personality in Catalunya and she is involved with visual arts, having developed her own fonts and being a truly creative individual.
With Rossi being so far the fastest in the Barcelona practice, we'll see if this lid comes with good looks only, or will it bring some good fortune for Jorge Lorenzo, as well.
