Yamaha factory team rider Jorge Lorenzo told MotoGP.com that he sees no less than 4 contenders to the 2013 title. Besides him and Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa, Lorenzo believes the other two riders of the two teams are deep in the game, too: MotoGP star Valentino Rossi and rookie Marc Marquez.
Despite Lorenzo and Pedrosa reigning supreme in the pre-season tests of 2013, the Yamaha rider admits that both Rossi and Marquez were very fast and were able to keep up with the high pace at Sepang.

While Rossi is a very experienced rider and is surely determined to make a nice comeback on the M1 bike, Lorenzo sees Marquez as a very talented rider and has no doubt that he will claim victories in the 2013 MotoGP season and his racing is not to be taken lightly.

Yamaha, Honda and LCR Honda will have an extra testing session at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The results of this test are extremely important, as the track is very different to that at Sepang, and the bikes will be put to a severe test, proving whether the current setup is good enough or not.
