After Honda has three of their riders (Pedrosa, Marquez and Bradl for LCR Honda) test the 2014 RC213V prototype at Aragon in Spain, it looks like the pressure on the development dropped a bit, to more relaxed levels.
MotoGP.com discussed the matter with Honda's Shuhei Nakamoto and HRC's Executive VP seemed both relaxed and happy with the development progress. Nakamoto declared that the feedback the three riders provided showed both the positive and the negative sides of the new machinery, but since all of them openly admitted they were happy with the 2013 bike, there is no need to rush things.
We reported earlier that Honda was ready to supply the riders with the chassis of the 2014 RC213V right form this season, in case the riders wanted to race it. However, with the factory and satellite riders not that eager to hop on the new chassis this season, Honda has plenty of time to develop the prototype further and we're looking forward to the next tests at Misano and Valencia.
