We’re starring at the Mickey Mouse dashboard of our 2013 Mini Paceman test drive car as the traffic jam reluctantly starts moving along one inch per minute. Together with the U-shaped windscreen, this makes the cabin an amusing place and this is, indeed, helping us get over the frustration easier.
One hour and a half later, we arrive at our destination, the petrol station down the street. This is where they sell the best donuts in this part of the city and such a funky little car deserves a celebration.

While we’re here we also brim the tiny tank of the MINI Paceman and, as we exit, we head for the outskirts of the city as we want to enjoy the Cooper S part of this Paceman.

We’ve gone past the city’s borders now and the exhaust pops as we lift for a very slow corner, but the torque steer that accompanies us on the way out reminds us to tell you that you simply have to opt for the ALL4 version.

There’s a twisty section coming up ahead and we’ll tell you all about this in our 2013 MINI Cooper S Paceman test drive.
