2013 MINI Countryman JCW Launches Flying Man?

MINI is trying to be forcefully viral and we’re not in the mood for fake videos. Yes, this video is for the most part the work of clever editing and some people with computers. Let’s be clear about this, a car could potentially have enough power to tow a man in a flying squirrel suit, but would a famous carmaker really pull a stunt like that using only roof rack?
What’s more, that clutch save the driver pulls off at the edge of the canyon is something out of a Wille E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoon. The Countryman JCW is supposed to be this rally-bread car that’s really fun to drive, and two skinny guys with long hair and beards just won’t cut it.

We’re not completely sure the whole video is face, and we’d like to hear more from you. But what we are sure of is that the first all-wheel drive JCW model is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine rated at 211hp and 207 lb-ft of torque.
