Everyone gets a shot at testing MINIs latest creation, the Paceman, these days. We've seen a lot of test-drives but there's something special about the one the guys from TFLCar did. It was done at 1 mile above sea level, in the Rocky Mountains.
They tested the MINI Cooper S Paceman that has a 1.6-liter engine with 181 HP and  177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque, available from 1,600 RPM. The unit under the bonnet was hooked up to an automatic gearbox that sends the power to all four wheels, through the All4 system.

According to Roman and Nathan, the car's exterior is rather ugly and the car is worth getting only if you don't look in a mirror while driving it. However, when behind its wheel, you are compelled to buy it.

The go-kart feel is at home and the driving dynamics will impress even the most pretentious driver out there (like Nathan, for example). The 'Sport' button will transform the car and its exhaust tune, almost turning it into a proper sports car.

Overall, the few complains the guys had were limited to some plastic interior trims and the steep price. However, even they had to admit that the Paceman will charm you the moment you leave the parking lot.
