The second significantly refreshed new model from Lincoln has made its debut at in Los Angeles. We’re talking about the 2013 MKT crossover, which not only comes with a new look, but also addresses some other important issues customers had with the vehicle.

The MKT features refreshed engines that are more powerful and efficient, but the biggest change was made to the look of the crossover. Apart from the new grille and bumpers, the inside has also been revised with better materials and infotainment systems.

The not-so-Ford model comes with...a fresh MyLincoln Touch with dual 4.2-inch LCD screens in the gauge cluster, and an eight-inch multi-function LCD touch screen and SYNC.

The new MKT also comes with Lincoln's Drive Control system which allows the driver to change the car's dynamics between Sport, Normal and Comfort. A new CCD system controls damping to offer the best handling and comfort for the given conditions.

The engine range consists of the same revised 3.7-liter V6 with 300 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque, available with FWD, or the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that comes with AWD. Both are mated to six-speed automatic.

Expect the 2013 MKT to arrive at dealers in the spring of 2012.
