After 13,000 people had bought the Gallardo, Lamborghini though it’s still not time to make a new one, and so at the Paris Motor Show they brought over a facelifted Gallardo LP50-4 coupe. This new look will go on sale soon for the 2013 model year, but something was strangely missing.
Paris also hosted an LP550-2 Spyder to showcase the fact that RWD was still part of the lineup, but the look of the car was unchanged. This means we still don’t know what how the new look will combine with the convertible model.
Today, we found renderings of a facelifted Gallardo Spyder created by Theophilus Chin. The facelift changes the look of the front and rear ends of the car, both of which are packed with edges and triangular shapes. Also new are the 19-inch “Apollo polished” alloy wheels.
The four black blades and the new air vents added to the side of the front bumper make the Gallardo look more complex. Let’s just hope we don’t have to put up with any more facelifts.
