At the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the world had the chance to witness greatness first hand when the world's first plug-in hybrid 2+2 super-car was unveiled by the BMW Group. Now, it's time for the North American continent to dress to the nines and welcome the iconic car.
The i8 will be making its American debut next month, at the 2013 Los Angeles International Auto Show, joining BMW i's growing line-up of visionary vehicles. These cars have been developed from the ground up as electric or hybrid units so that they can offer the best of both worlds to their owners.

The US market will be receiving the i8 somewhere in the second quarter of 2014, priced at USD135,700, featuring that out of this world design with sleek lines and a low slung exterior that allows you to travel up to 94 miles to the gallon.
