2013 LA Auto Show Feels like the 1960s: Batmobile

Forget all the world premieres, North American Debuts and concepts being displayed at this year’s edition of the Los Angeles Motor Show. It’s time to travel back in time and we found just the tool for this at the event - a Batmobile.

We’re talking about the 1960s Batmobile, the one that served in the TV series, as well as in its film incarnation.  We’ll remind you that the Batmobile started out in life as a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car, which was converted into a crime-fighting vehicle in as little as three weeks.

Unfortunately, this is not the original car, as that used red trim for the exterior, whereas this one in LA comes with a Yellow-Orange combination. Still, the details on the thing are impressive. Batman was nowhere in sight, so we couldn't get an interview...
