Korean automaker Kia has released the first official video of the new Sorento for the 2013 model year. The SUV has received new styling, a revised drivetrain and also comes with an improved interior.
The front of the car LED accents for the headlights, a revised grille mesh, a bumper, vertical fog lights. Kia has added new wheel choices and other small tweaks for the 2013 Sorento.
The video lets us see for the first time the revised interior of the SUV, which features a big 7-inch LCD touch screen that controls the Sorento’s entertainment system. Kia say they’ve adopted more soft touch materials, which make the interior a much more appealing place to be.
“Since its introduction in 2009, the second-generation Kia Sorento has achieved more than 620,000 sales around the world. Today, it is manufactured in Korea and the USA, attracting over 130,000 U.S. customers last year to rank as the best-selling Kia model in the States for the second year in a row,” commented Thomas Oh, Kia’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the International Business Division.
