So you're a fan of Japanese cruisers but still long for the retro attitude the bikes of yore had. Well, Kawasaki's got the right toy to bring back the smile on your face: the 2013 Kawasaki VN1700 Classic Tourer.
This bike looks old, but there are so many new things about it. While the no-nonsense 1700cc V-Twin power unit inherits the top-drawer valve-system from the acclaimed VN2000 monster, the OHV architecture has been changed with a SOHC one, for a more precise valve-timing at high revs.

This engine delivers 73 PS but the torque makes all the difference: more than 100 ft-lbs (136 Nm) are conveyed to the 170mm 16”rear wheel via a belt final transmission, just like the old-school choppers did.

The 2013 Kawasaki VN1700 Classic Tourer comes with coactive ABS brakes, easy-to-operate cruise control, a 6-speed gear for easy highway touring and rich instrument gauge atop the fuel tank.

Chrome is a valuable asset for any cruiser, and Kawasaki knows this, so you get an ignition switch collar which allows you to run the bike without the key, once you've started it. Multiple accessories are available for your 2013 Kawasaki VN1700 Classic Tourer so that you get the very bike you dream of.
