The new Kawasaki Versys is one of the choices really worth checking put of you're looking for a new "do-it-all" bike. Commuting, touring, some small "adventure riding", or simply for fun, the 2013 Kawasaki Versys can do them all.
The new bike carries on the 4-stroke 2 in-line tradition, but 2013 brings a slightly better-tuned engine. The 643cc power unit is now more efficient in the mid-range rpm, offering more torque and a more confident feeling. Nevertheless, there is nothing lazy about the new Versys: it's still throttle-happy, but now, it is also more suitable for city riding.
This bike comes with 17” wheels and is thus more street-oriented. The riding position has remained upright and offers excellent control thanks to the wide handlebar and long-travel suspension. In fact, it's this suspension which still allows the 2013 Kawasaki Versys to offer a fun enjoyable ride on countryside gravel roads, most likely.
The 64 PS power complements the 61 Nm (45 ft-lbs) torque and offers enough grit for this 206 kg (454 lbs) bike. Front and rear ABS is optional and you'll be able to cover a lot of ground with one fuel tank, as it sports a hefty 19 liter (5 gal) capacity.
