Aggression defines Kawasaki's 2013 line of street bikes, and the ER-6f follows the trend.
The 2013 ER-6f boasts new frame and swingarm: the dual-pipe design is both rigid and lightweight but also comes with a fluid design and great looks. A streamlined visual presence, the swingarm complements the mean look of the 2013 ER-6f by contrasting with the edgy, brutal fairing lines.
The ergonomics of the bike have been improved with a better position, a softer cushioning for the seat and rubber-mounted seat bracket reduce vibrations for better trips. The low-slung exhaust is Euro-III compliant and helps the engine perform better, especially with the new tuning delivering more torque in the low-mid range under 7000 rpm.
ER-6f comes with a new instrument panel now adding remaining range, average/instant fuel consumption and the very cool Economical Riding Indicator. The ABS is optional, but the new dual headlight is standard. Kawasaki seems to like a lot the design of their new ZZR1400, as the fairing of the ER-6f evokes some of the iconic grooved elements in the flagship bike, and we totally dig this.
