We’re not really sure who the customers for a big, seven-seater luxury crossover are. But Infiniti seems to think that there are a lot of them, since they say the JX35 will become one of their biggest sellers once the vehicle is launched in March.
“It will become our second-best-seller this year, right behind [the] G [lineup],” Infiniti ’s North American vice president Ben Poore told WardsAuto in an interview.
The information seems strange, since we didn’t expect demand for this vehicle to be anywhere near the 8,246-unit combined sales total for the G sedan and coupe for 2011.
Right now, the only engine option is the JX 35 with a 3.5-liter V6 offering 265 hp and 248 lb-ft on the US market. The engine is available in both FVD and with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
