The automotive world is pushing full-steam-ahead with the introduction of new electronic systems that are supposed to make your car safer on the road. But of course it’s still a way to make a car overly complicated.
But a problem has arisen with the intelligent braking assist system on the brand new 2013 Infiniti JX seven-seater crossover. Two filings have been made with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), by drivers who claim “the intelligent brake assist system inappropriately activated emergency braking autonomously bringing the vehicle to an immediate and complete stop."

A formal investigation has been opened into the matter, and it definitely sounds like Infiniti has a problem on its hands. After all, the unintelligent braking could result in you being rear-ended.
