2013 Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition Is a Collector's Treat

Things are on the move at the Indian headquarters, as the 111 year-old motorcycle manufacturers are bringing new toys to the biking world. As announced earlier, Indian Motorcycles are about to load a completely new engine in their new bikes line and thus mark another (hopefully majestic) era in their long history.

The Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, California was the perfect occasion to show the Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition, new cruiser loaded with all the iconic custom details and powered by the PowerPlus 105 engine.

This bike marks the end of the Kings Mountain-produced units. Back in 2011, the North Carolina manufacturing line has been completely moved and reassemble din Spirit Lake, Iowa, near the other two Polaris line producing the Polaris Rangers and Victory motorcycles.

The 2013 Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition bikes will be produced in a limited series, making a great collectible bike, with a number plate attached to the chassis and commemorating the 111 years of Indian motorcycles.

Indian Red and Thunder Black w/ Gold pinstripes are the only two color schemes available, while the bikes will only be sold in the US and Canada, for base prices starting at $35,599 and $39,599, respectively.

The 2013 Indian Chief Vintage Final Edition bikes will be loaded with auxiliary headlights, detachable passenger seat, windscreen and leather saddlebags, chrome engine guards and hand grab rails, and many other classic details. Check with your Indian Motorcycles dealer for final pricing and availability.
