We’ve already seen leaked images of the car that’s supposed to refreshen the two-door game for Hyundai, but now we have the first couple of official images of the 2013 Genesis Coupe and its new looks.
The look of the Genesis has been moved in line with the other Hyundai models, as the Coupe looks notably similar to the Veloster up front. These fresh looks came about as a result of a new front with a bigger grille that’s split in the middle by a black bumper. The redesign work also touched the lights and hood, which has been reshaped.
Round the back, the taillights look similar to those at the front and the boot has a more concave shape.
No official world on what’s under the re-sculpted bonnet, but if there’s a a 380 GT badge on the back, we have a good chance of seeing a new 3.8-liter with 333 hp. The newest Hyundai 8-speed auto transmission should also be used.
The facelifted Hyundai will become official in Korea this Saturday, but America will have to wait until next year.
