Hyundai recently announced a $250 pricing increase for the 2013 Equus, with the bump pushing the saloon over the $60,000 mark. To be more precise, the 2013 Equus starts at $60,150, with this including a $900 destination charge.
This is the price tag for the Signature model, but moving higher up the range, we find the Equus Ultimate, which retails for $67,150, including the shipping charges. The 2013 model year doesn’t bring any significant changes for the Equus, with the most important novelties being a White Satin exterior and a Saddle interior combination.
However, the Equus is still below its competitors in terms of pricing, as the 2012 BMW 750i comes with a starting price of $86,195 (this includes a $895 destination charge and a $1,000 gas-guzzler tax), while a 2012 Lexus LS 460 can be yours starting from $68,505, with the price including a $875 destination charge.
